Momentum Continues: MakeSense Named a Salesforce Growth Partner Finalist for the Second Year Running

Reading Time: 4 minutes

Recognition is always meaningful. But being recognised twice in a row signals something deeper.

We’re proud to share that MakeSense has once again been named a Top 3 finalist in the Salesforce ANZ Growth Partner category, marking our second consecutive year receiving this recognition.

For us, this milestone isn’t just about an award. It reflects the momentum we’ve built as a Salesforce partner, the trust our customers place in us, and the impact our team continues to deliver across the Salesforce ecosystem.

It also reflects how far we’ve come in a short period of time.

Building on a Year of Significant Growth

When we reflected on our journey last year in ‘Our Journey to Salesforce Success: From Inception to Today,’ we talked about the foundations we had built as a Salesforce partner.

Over the past year, those foundations have translated into significant growth.

Our Salesforce practice has grown by more than 50% year-on-year, and our Salesforce team has almost doubled in size. Alongside this growth in headcount, we’ve continued to expand our capabilities across areas that are shaping the future of the Salesforce ecosystem.

This includes deeper expertise in:

  • Data-driven architecture
  • Data harmonisation and unification
  • Personalised digital experiences
  • Intelligent document processing and automation
  • Agentic AI capabilities

While Salesforce has traditionally been viewed through a CRM lens, the platform is evolving rapidly. Increasingly, organisations are looking at Salesforce not just as a system of record for customer interactions, but as a data platform capable of unifying information across the enterprise.

At MakeSense, we’ve aligned our growth to that shift.

Today, we see the world less through individual use cases and more through a data lens, helping organisations bring fragmented systems together, harmonise data, and prepare their ecosystems for the next generation of AI-driven applications.

Preparing Businesses for the Agentic Era

One of the most exciting developments in the Salesforce ecosystem today is the rise of agentic AI.

However, there’s a reality many organisations are discovering: building intelligent agents is easy, building agents that work reliably in production is far more difficult.

In fact, a large proportion of AI agents never make it into production environments. One of the biggest reasons is simple: data.

If data is fragmented, inconsistent, or poorly structured, even the most advanced AI models struggle to deliver meaningful results.

That’s why our focus has increasingly been on helping organisations build the data foundation required for AI-driven systems to succeed. By integrating disparate systems, harmonising data, and creating unified data environments, businesses can unlock the full value of both Salesforce and emerging AI capabilities.

This shift toward a data-centric architecture is something we believe will shape the next phase of the Salesforce ecosystem.

Growth Without Losing Our Culture

Growth is exciting, but it also brings challenges.

As our Salesforce practice has expanded, we’ve worked hard to ensure that the qualities that defined MakeSense early on continue to shape how we operate today.

We’ve always believed that strong culture and strong delivery go hand in hand. Even as our team grows across regions and capabilities, we continue to invest in maintaining the collaborative, high-ownership culture that defines the SenseMaker team.

That includes ongoing professional development, cross-training across new technologies, and creating an environment where our people continue to learn and innovate together.

While growth inevitably means the organisation becomes larger and more complex, our goal remains the same: delivering exceptional outcomes for our customers while building a workplace where people thrive.

Recognition such as this award nomination, alongside our continued recognition as a Great Place to Work, reinforces that we’re moving in the right direction.

Honouring the Foundations That Got Us Here

Moments like this are also an opportunity to reflect on the people who helped build the foundations of our success.

Over the past year, the SenseMaker family experienced a significant loss with the passing of our former Director, Guru Rao, who played an important role in shaping the organisation’s early vision.

While our growth continues, we recognise that many of the foundations that enabled this journey were laid through the contributions of those who helped build MakeSense from its early days. Their vision and dedication continue to influence the path we are on today.

Strengthening Our Partnership with Salesforce

None of this progress would be possible without the strength of our partnership with Salesforce.

Over the past year, our collaboration with Salesforce teams has deepened significantly. We’re working more closely than ever through joint initiatives, co-selling engagements, and shared customer opportunities.

This closer alignment enables us to deliver stronger outcomes for customers while building a healthy and sustainable pipeline together.

As Salesforce continues to evolve, particularly in data platforms, automation, and AI-driven capabilities, we’re excited to keep growing alongside the ecosystem.

Looking Ahead

Being named a finalist for the second year in a row is something we’re incredibly proud of.

But for us, it’s also motivation.

Recognition like this validates the progress we’ve made, but it also fuels our ambition to keep pushing forward. Our goal isn’t simply to be recognised as a finalist.

Next time, we’re aiming to take the top spot.

With a rapidly expanding team, deeper data and AI capabilities, and a stronger partnership with Salesforce than ever before, we’re excited about what the next chapter holds.

And most importantly, we’re excited about continuing to help our customers turn Salesforce innovation into real-world outcomes.

Let’s get started.
